Breaking waves at Dreamland beach, Bali, with my friend Queenie from China
My time in Indonesia was a lot of fun. The Islands of Bali and Lombok and the smaller Gili Island and Nusa Lembogan are just stunning. It was easy to take really good photos wherever we went. This time I was too lazy to write much so I thought I would let the photos tell the story. I also put my Gopro to good use and my friend Anya put together a very nice video of the underwater world of Bali and Lombok.
Anyway a picture tells 1000 words. And a video tells many more
The Underwater World
My travel buddy, Anya did a great job putting together this video of us snorkelling the coral reefs of Bali and Gili Air and even a shipwreck in Tulamben
The caves at Uluwatu, southern tip of Bali
Kuta Beach might be busy but it is still epic at sunset
The Ubud Monkey forest
The beach at Tulamben is quite rocky but it’s awesome when you jump in and go snorkelling/free diving
Corals and seaweeds on the side of the Liberty shipwreck 50m off shore from the beach at Tulamben
Just offshore from Jemeluk Beach, Ahmed, in the NE of Bali is this underwater mail box. Apparently you can post a waterproof letter in the box below

Sunset at Nusa Lembogan, just to the east of Bali
That way to Antarctica!
